“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” – Henry Ford
Liberty Medical recently demonstrated the power of teamwork by bringing together employees from across the ANZ business to build hampers for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Melbourne, Australia. The RMHC provides much-needed accommodation for families with seriously ill children, allowing them to stay close to the hospital and focus on their child’s treatment plan.
During the afternoon, the associates faced various challenges, testing their communication, decision-making, and creative abilities – all essential skills for success in any business. Working together in this environment provided a safe place for acting quickly, failing fast, and restarting tasks, while strengthening avenues for further collaboration across the business.
Liberty Medical leads from a mission-driven culture, where every person has the opportunity and responsibility, to make life more rewarding and dignified for those who use our products and services. The company’s values were on full display during this event as the teams came together to give back to the community and make a positive impact.
Facilitated by Melbourne born company “Uplift Events” the team’s efforts to build hampers for RMHC served as a reminder of the power of teamwork and the importance of working towards a mutual purpose for RMHC: to make a difference in the lives of the families at RMHC.
